Hexham, Corbridge and the Tyne Valley, with the Roman sites of Hadrian's Wall to the north and west: Chesters, Housesteads, Vindolanda and the crags around Steel Rigg and Walltown. Main places: Hexham, Corbridge, Haltwhistle, Haydon Bridge, Allendale and Prudhoe.
